Analysis On Ferrovanadium Operation Rate And Production Statistics In February 2022
www.ferroalloynet.com: According to FerroAlloyNet, about 10 ferrovanadium companies among 34 investigated producers were under normal production with the operation rate at 29.4% in February, down by 8.8% compared with that in January. The total output of ferrovanadium in China was 3039 tons including 730 tons ferrovanadium 80from Pangang Group and 80 tons ferrovanadium 80 from ChengSteel, decrease of 19.2% m-o-m. Though the cost for ferrovanadium increased a bit after Chinese Spring Festival Holiday, the general demands didn’t have any improvement yet which put the market to be quiet. However, thanks to the rising price on V2O5 flake, many ferrovanadium producers had to keep operating and fulfill the orders though the selling price was much lower than the costs.
