Another Steel Mill In Tangshan Was Shut Down On March 5

Tangshan Xinbaotai Iron & Steel’s rolling mill 650*1 mill has been suspended on September 24, 2019, and the remaining strip mill 750*1  has stopped  on March 5, 2021, which will affect the daily production of 2000 tons of strip steel.As of March 5, 2021, Tangshan Xinbaotai Iron & Steel 630 vertical blast furnace and rolling line have all stopped production.

Tangshan Xinbaotai Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. was founded in August 2002, is a collection of sintering, ironmaking, steelmaking, strip steel production, trade in one of the private joint-stock enterprises.The company is located in Shahepu Industrial Park, Fengrun District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, relying on the advantaged industrial base resources in eastern Hebei Province, the geographical location is superior, the transportation is very convenient.In accordance with the requirements of the Guiding Opinions of the State Council on Resolving the Condemnation of Serious Excess Capacity, the Opinions of the State Council on Resolving the Excess Capacity of the Iron and Steel Industry and Replacing the Capacity of the Iron and Steel Industry, Tangshan Xinbaotai Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. Iron-making and steelmaking equipment have been retired from the city and relocated.At that time, 1.1 million tons of iron making capacity and 800,000 tons of steel making capacity will be transferred to Jilin Henglian Precision Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd.
