Australian Vanadium Appoints Louis Mostert To Dual Role Of Chief Legal & Commercial Officer And Joint Company Secretary

Australian Vanadium Ltd (ASX:AVL) has tapped experienced legal, commercial, strategy and governance professional, Louis Mostert, to fill the dual roles of chief legal and commercial officer and joint company secretary.
Mostert has provided AVL with specialist consultant advice for the past two years, proving himself as a valuable member of the company’s team.
He’s a highly experienced general counsel and chartered company secretary, with previous experience in executive roles for ASX-100 and FTSE-100 resource companies as well as engineering and construction businesses and a top-tier national law firm.

Mostert graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and has a Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia.
He is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries, a Fellow of the Governance Institute of Australia and a Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
Current company secretary Neville Bassett will continue as joint company secretary alongside Mostert.
