Bidding Price of Vanadium-Nitrogen Alloy Declined Slightly Due to Weak Demand

www.ferroalloynet.com: Demand for vanadium products was weak last week, and the manufacturer’s quotation was slightly lowered. The vanadium-nitrogen alloy bidding price of one steel mill in northwest China and Yangchun Steel showed a downward trend, and the tax-inclusive acceptance price was CNY 223,800/t. The bidding price of the manufacturer is on the high side, traders actively supply goods, and vanadium price drops down. Concerned that the price of vanadium will continue to decline in the later period, a small number of manufacturers have begun to take orders at a low price of CNY 226,000/t by cash, delivery at the end of the month.

Last week, the raw material market trading is sluggish, some V2O5 flake are concluded at the price of CNY 150,000/t by cash. It is expected that this price will be unacceptable to downstream processing plants this week. The price of V2O5 flake will decline slightly compared with that of last week, and that of ammonium metavanadate will also fall synchronously.
