Bureau Of Statistics: China’s Steel Output In July Was 17.122 Million Tons, Down 19.8% Year-On-Year

The latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in July 2022, China’s steel bar output was 17.122 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.8%; the cumulative output from January to July was 136.322 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.7%.
In July, the output of medium-thick and wide steel strip in China was 15.229 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%; the cumulative output from January to July was 111.231 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.8%.
In July, China’s wire rod (wire rod) output was 11.572 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 14.7%; the cumulative output from January to July was 83.32 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 13.7%.
In July, China’s iron ore output was 80.227 million tons, down 3.5% year-on-year; the cumulative output from January to July was 572.318 million tons, down 3.3% year-on-year.
