Cango’s beginning can be traced back to late 1950′ s with copper mining and beneficiation. A push towards the west resulted in Corporate HQ being from Switzerland. This Platform gave the founders an impetus to move further westwards and the establishment of listed entities in Canada for exploration and processing of base metals and minerals. After having strategically penetrated the western markets,
company made a bold move in late 80 s into the Middle East with a presence in Dubai which was then one of the first raw material distribution companies operating in the region. Cango is presently engaged in expanding its presence in Africa, Middle East, Indian Sub-Continent, Asia and Far East.
