China Appeals To WTO Against U.S. Additional Tariffs On Chinese Goods Worth USD300 Billion

The first additional tariff of 15% targeting at Chinese goods came into effect in the United States on 1 September and China appealed to WTO under the dispute settlement mechanism. China considers U.S.action of imposing additional tariffs as a serious violation of the consensus made by two presidents in Osaka, so it expresses strong dissatisfaction and resolutely opposed it. China will firmly protect its legal rights and interests and resolutely guard multilateral trade system and international trade orders based on related WTO rules.
