China, U.S. Agree to Restart Trade Talks

On 29 June, China’s President Xi Jinping and U.S. President Donald Trump met each other and agreed that the two parties will restart trade talks on the basis of equality and mutual respect. President Trump said that the U.S. won’t levy new additional tariffs on Chinese goods. China and U.S. trade representatives will talk on specific issues.
