BEIJING (Asian Metal) 22 May 20 – With an annual production capacity of 1,200t for ammonium metavanadate 98%min, Shangnan Haodi Vanadium Industry Co.,Ltd. plans to plans to resume production at the start of June. Before that, they have been out of production for about four months due to the COVID-19, a source told Asian Metal.

“We didn’t resume production after the Spring Festival due to the control of COVID-19. As prices of vanadium products show rebounding tendency now, we prepare to produce from early June,” a source from this company said. This company would buy stone-coal as raw material from local area to produce ammonium metavanadate 98%min. In normal, they could produce about 100 physical tons per month.

Located in Shangluo, they are one of four producers for ammonium metavanadate 98%min in Shaanxi.

This Thursday, mainstream prices of Chinese ammonium metavanadate 98%min stand at RMB93,000-95,000/t (USD13.1-13.4/kg) EXW D/P, up by RMB1,000/t (USD0.1/kg) from last week. Most suppliers are strongly willing to raise their prices and market inquiries keep increasing.
