Hebei Dongliang Wind Farm Fengning Senjitu 3MW/12MWh VRFB Wind Storage Demonstration Project Phase I Project Report And Announcement

www.ferroalloynet.com:Recently, the government of Chengde City, Hebei Province issued a report on the first phase of Fengning Sengjitu VRFB battery wind storage demonstration project of Dongliang Wind Power Plant. The wind energy storage project will adopt the VRFB energy storage system scheme for peak and valley regulation. The first phase energy storage scale is 2MW/8MWh, and the final phase energy storage scale is 3MW/12MWh.

Dongliang Wind Power Plant Fengning Sengjitu VRFB Wind Storage Demonstration Project Phase I (hereinafter referred to as Sengjitu Wind Power Plant) is a large (2) type engineering wind power project invested and constructed by Hebei Fengning Construction Investment New Energy Co., Ltd., which is a newly built project. Sengitu Wind Farm has a total installed capacity of 100MW, engineering class II, with 30 fans installed. The project construction includes fan area, energy storage area, collector line, road, construction area, etc. The total investment of the project is  969.0127 million CNY, including 94.0109 million CNY in civil construction. The construction period will be 13 months.

The construction content of this project mainly includes 5 parts: fan area, energy storage area, collector line area, road area and construction living area.

1. Fan Area :This project is equipped with 30 typhoon power units with installed capacity of 100MVA and outlet voltage of all units is 0.69kV. The connection mode of wind turbine and box type transformer adopts unit connection mode of one machine and one transformer. The connection between wind turbine and box type transformer adopts 0.6/1kV low voltage cable directly buried. Box type variable using the American box variable, capacity is 2300KVA, the uniform device in the distance from the wind turbine about 15m place; 35KV voltage grade is selected for the box transformer side. In order to meet the construction and erection needs of wind turbines, a construction and erection site is set next to each fan foundation and connected with the construction road in the site.

2. Energy storage area: The energy storage area covers an area of 0.8hm2 and is constructed in the form of a building battery insulation room with a construction area of 7500m2. The energy storage system adopts the scheme of all-vanadium liquid flow battery system, whose working form is peak-valley regulation. That is, when the wind farm’s generating capacity is at its peak, the all-vanadium liquid flow battery system is charged, and when the wind farm’s generating capacity is at its low point, the all-vanadium liquid flow battery system is sent to the outside. The construction scale of the energy storage system in the current period is 2MW/8MWh, and the final construction scale is 3MW/12MWh.

3. Collector circuit area:In order to protect the local ecological environment, the 35KV line in the wind farm adopts the form of directly buried cable laying. According to the layout of the wind turbine, capacity and 35kV line combination, the wind turbine through the direct buried cable transmission form of the collector line for grouping connection.
