Indian Gurushree To Produce Ferrovanadium

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 25 Nov 20 – With an annual production capacity of 1,200t for ferrovanadium, Indian Gurushree Industries would start to produce ferrovanadium 50%min from the end of December. They expect to produce about 20t in next January for the first month.

“We completed the construction of ferrovanadium workshop now, and would start to produce from the end of December,” a source from this company noted. They buy spent vanadium catalyst from Europe as raw material to produce ferrovanadium 50%min and ferrovanadium 80%min. They would produce about 20t of ferrovanadium 50%min in next January.

Located in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, this company would be a new ferrovanadium producer in India after Premier Alloys & Chemicals Pvt. and Essel Mining.

Currently, mainstream prices of Indian ferrovanadium 50%min stand at INR815-835/kg (USD22-22.5/kg V) delivered D/P, unchanged from one week ago.
