Mexico Initiated Anti-dumping Investigation Against Alloy Carbon Steel Plates From Brazil And Russia

On September 21, 2020, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico issued a notice in the official gazette approving Arcelormittal México,S.A.de C.V.application for, decided to initiate an anti-dumping investigation against alloy carbon steel plate originated from Brazil and Russia. The case is subject to a dumping investigation on January 1, 2019-December 31, 2019 and an injury investigation on January 1, 2017-December 31, 2019. The TIGIE tax Numbers of the products involved are 7207.12.99, 7207.20.99, 7224.90.02 and 7224.90.99. The proclamation shall take effect from the day following its promulgation.

In accordance with the relevant Laws of Mexico, the Ministry of Economy of Mexico may retroactively levy anti-dumping duties on products in question imported within 90 days prior to the implementation of provisional anti-dumping measures.
