The latest data from the National Bureau of Statistics shows that in June, China’s raw iron ore production was 98.711 million tons, up 9.2% year on year; Cumulative output from January to June was 501.211 million tons, down 2.9 percent year-on-year.

In June, China’s rebar production was 20.061 million tons, down 19.3% year on year; Cumulative output from January to June was 117.69 million tons, down 14.1 percent year on year.

In June, China’s wire rod (rod) production was 13.054 million tons, down 7.8% year on year; Cumulative production from January to June was 7,138.2 tons, down 13.8 percent year-on-year.

In June, China’s medium and wide steel strip production was 16.949 million tons, up 4.6% year on year; Cumulative output from January to June was 960.03 million tons, up 1.3 percent year on year.

In June, China’s cold-rolled sheet production was 3.79 million tons, up 1.9% year on year; Cumulative output from January to June was 214.07 million tons, up 0.4 percent year-on-year.

In June, China’s welded steel pipe production was 5.274 million tons, down 3.7% year on year; Cumulative output from January to June stood at 27.403 million tons, down 4.7 percent year-on-year.
