www.ferroalloynet.com: According to Ferroalloynet incomplete statistics, October vanadium pentoxide output was 7933 tons, including 6705 tons of flake and 1228 tons of powder; ferrovanadium output was 3800 tons and vanadium-nitrogen output was 3180 tons.

3800 tons of ferrovanadium (about 1190 tons of ferrovanadium 80#) should consume 4524 tons of V2O5 flake, and 3180 tons of vanadium-nitrogen should consume 4484 tons of V2O5. In October, V2O5 export volume and the quantity of long-term orders totaled about 300 tons. Thus the total consumption of vanadium pentoxide should be 9308 tons. But the actual output of vanadium pentoxide was 7933 tons, lower 1375 tons than the estimated consumption. It was because some factories replaced part of V2O5 with ammonium metavanadate.
