Prophecy Development Corp (CN:PCY) is not wasting time as it aims to make the Gibellini vanadium project it acquired mid-year the first primary vanadium mine in North America.

It released a technical report this week, outlining a revised resource estimate for the Gibellini and Louie Hill vanadium deposits at the project in Nevada, looking to capitalise on forecast demand for vanadium batteries in the growing renewable energy markets.
Gibellini’s total measured and indicated resource was 22.01 million tonnes at 0.294% vanadium pentoxide for 129.8Mlb V2O5, while the Louie Hill deposit about 500m south had an inferred resource of 7.06Mt at 0.284% V2O5 containing 40.16Mlb.
