Purchase price of Yongfeng Laiwu Iron and Steel hits record high

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 17 Oct 18 – Laiwu Iron and Steel Group Yongfeng Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. finished bidding to purchase 75t of vanadium nitride with the final purchasing price of RMB788,000/t (USD147,82/kg V) Inc-VAT delivered D/A six months, up by RMB368,000/t (USD69.03/kg V) or 87.6% from that of last month. It exceeded the vanadium nitride price of Benxi Beiying Iron & Steel, the record high.
They plan to purchase 200t of vanadium nitride and are still arranging the purchase now. The offer they received for vanadium nitride after the bidding was RMB790,000/t (USD148.19/kg V), but they have concluded no deals at the price.
