Mr. Yao: Shandong Qingyuan Metallurgical Caterials Co., LTD. is a private enterprise mainly engaged in the production of ferrovanadium alloy products. The company has two silicon vanadium alloy production lines, a 3 ton 3500 kva refining furnace, a 5 ton 4000 kva refining furnace. Company raw materials are mainly from western Panzhihua. At full capacity, the company processes 15,000 tons of various vanadium raw materials and 1,800 tons of silicon vanadium alloy (FeSiV) every year.

Mr. yao: At present, si-v alloy is mainly used in the production of vanadium containing rebar steel.

Mr. yao: Our company’s annual output of ferrosivanadium in 2018 is about 1200 tons, about 20% higher than that in 2017. The market demand of ferrosivanadium is stable and improving. New standards for rebar steel were issued last year, requiring rebar production must add an appropriate amount of vanadium manganese alloy elements, the old water penetration process is prohibited. At this time, vanadium silicon alloy is used as additive material of vanadium containing steel and high strength rebar production has a great cost advantage and economic benefits, this year’s demand is expected to be stable in progress.
