Thor Energy Says 2023 Programme Aimed At Uranium And Base Metals

Thor Energy PLC (AIM:THR, OTCQB:THORF, ASX:THR) said it will focus on its uranium prospects at Wedding Bell and Radium Mountain in 2023 while a maiden drilling programme is scheduled at the Vanadium King prospect in Utah.
In a quarterly update, Nicole Galloway Warland, managing director, commented: “At our Wedding Bell and Radium Mountain uranium projects in the US, the intersection of uranium-bearing, reduced sandstones at the greenfields Section 23 prospect is exciting”.
Elsewhere, Galloway Warland noted that the non-gold potential at Kelly’s prospect in Australia was also looking interesting.
“The latest drill results at Kelly’s prospect are encouraging, including the copper-silver with minor gold intersections at Kelly’s and Kelly’s NE. To date, most drilling has only focussed on the gold potential and the recent drill results demonstrate the potential for a significant copper-gold-silver and base metals system,” she said.
Thor Energy, formerly called Thor Mining, had cash and equivalents at the end of the three months to December 31, 2022, of A$2.69mln.
