• Consumer business reported at $5.50 per b, and two smaller sales at $6.90 per lb, one of which was confirmed to be to an aerospace customer with an associated premium.
• Bids at $5.05 per lb and $5.15 per lb were not accepted, nor were offers at $5.50 per lb, 6.90 per lb and $7 per lb.
• A trader assessed the market at $5.90-6 per lb while a producer assessed it at $6.20-6.30 per lb.
• Low comes up to $5.50 per lb where business was concluded, with indications below this no longer accepted by sellers. The high holds at $6.35 as a nod to higher levels, but $6.90 per lb not accepted unless carrying additional, non-standard terms, in our judgement.
