• One 20-tonne sale was reported by a consumer at $6.25 per lb and two 5-tonne sales were reported by a trader at $8.40 per lb and $8.45 per lb. The $6.25 per lb, $8.4 per lb and $8.45 per lb sales were not included in the final assessments and were viewed as outliers in the context of data submitted by other parties.
• The consumer received a 20-tonne offer at $6.5 per lb and reported a 20-tonne bid at $6.3 per lb, while placing the market at $6.25-6.5 per lb.
• A producer heard of two 20-tonne deals at $6.2 per lb and $6.25 per lb and indicated the market at $6.75-7.50 per lb.
• A consumer reported at 10-tonne bid at $7.25 per lb.
• The trader reported a 20-tonne offer at $8.4 per lb and a deal heard at $6.25 per lb.
• A second trader reported an offer at $7.5 per lb.

• One producer saw the market at $7.50-8.50 per lb. 
• Three traders indicated the market at $6-7 per lb and a fourth trader assessed the market at $8.50 per lb.
• One trader received an offer at $6.90 per lb. Another trader received a 2-tonne bid at $8.25 per lb and offered material at $8.5 per lb. A supplier offered material at $7 per lb.
• Fastmarkets range remains unchanged with little spot business concluded this week and indications that material could be purchased below the current range. We await further deals from other parties before moving the range any further.

• Two producers saw the market at $7.25-8.25 per lb, unchanged from the previous week’s assessment.
• A trader made a purchase at $8.50 per lb and received an offer at $8.65 per lb, while also receiving bids at $8.50 per lb. He assessed the market at $8.5 per lb.
• A second trader heard of a deal concluded at $8.50 per lb and received a bid at $8.10 per lb.
• Spot liquidity picked up – market participants are slowly coming back to the market following the summer holiday in Europe.
• Business was concluded up to the new high end of range, which is also in line with bids, assessments and deals reported to Fastmarkets. We await further deals from other parties before moving the range any further.
