Vanadium And Nitrogen Quotations Are Firm, And Ferrovanadium Rises Slightly
www.ferroalloynet.com: Vanadium-nitrogen alloys were priced at around 185,000-187,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance) yesterday. Today, vanadium-nitrogen manufacturers’ quotations are still firm at 185,000-190,000 CNY/Ton in cash; some traders have increased cash sentiment at the end of the year, quoting at 182,000-183,000 CNY/Ton in cash.
At present, retail V2O5 flake transaction prices are still 122,000-123,000 CNY/Ton in cash, and the quotations are mainly 124,000-125,000 CNY/Ton in cash. On the one hand, holders are reluctant to sell; on the other hand, vanadium-nitrogen alloy bidding price are still near the cost line, and production pressure is still exists, manufacturers are relatively cautious in purchasing high-priced raw materials. Therefore, although there are some market inquiries for V2O5 flake, actual transactions are small.
Yesterday, the ferrovanadium bidding slightly strengthened, and the transaction of ferrovanadium rose slightly to about 128,000-132,000 CNY/Ton (by acceptance). However, the production of ferrovanadium is still upside down, and the overall quotation of manufacturers is firm at 132,000-132,000 CNY/Ton in cash, and shipments are not planned for the low price.
