www.ferroalloynet.com: According to incomplete statistics from ferroalloynet, the output of vanadium pentoxide in vanadium market in December 2019 was about 9,110 tons, including 8,390 tons of vanadium pentoxide flake and 730 tons of vanadium pentoxide powder. Ferrovanadium output was 3,540 tons, while vanadium-nitrogen output was 5,440 tons.

According to the figure, 3,540 tons of ferrovanadium (about 980 tons of ferrovanadium 80#) should consume 4,098 tons of V2O5 flake, and 5,440 tons of vanadium-nitrogen should consume 7,703 tons of V2O5, total need 11,801 tons of V2O5. In December, some export orders in the international market, together with long-term orders, are expected to be about 300 tons, 450 tons of V2O5 flake have arrived at the port in the import market, the total consumption of vanadium pentoxide is approximate 12,101 tons. Market gap is about 2541 tons of V2O5. Some ammonium metavanadate and ammonium polyvanadate can offset the amount of vanadium pentoxide.
