Vanadium Weekly Market Overview During 3-6 June, 2019
www.ferroalloynet.com: This week, due to the shortage of vanadium pentoxide flake in vanadium market, traders’ inquiries are active. Although there are fewer steel tenders, the market activity remains unchanged and the vanadium price rises slightly. Three large vanadium factories have not yet sold goods, and there are few spot goods in the retailing market. The transaction price of vanadium pentoxide flake has climbed to CNY 123,000/t. At present, the quotation is CNY 125,000-130,000/t. The procurement for vanadium-nitrogen alloy is active, and the inquires for ammonium metavanadate have increased, and the transaction price is CNY 113,000-115,000/t. Vanadium alloy market is also relatively active. At present, the mainstream transaction price of ferrovanadium is CNY 125,000-130,000/t, and that of vanadium-nitrogen alloy is CNY 185,000-190,000/t. Orders for most alloys factories have been scheduled for the middle and late June, with fewer spot and a slightly higher price.
