Yunnan Vanadium Carbon 500MW All-Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Industrial Base Project Started In Qujing

On January 29, the opening ceremony of the Qujing All-vanadium redox flow battery industrial base (Phase I) project was held in the Baishui area of Zhanyi Industrial Park.

Liu Pengcheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhanyi District Committee, Deputy District Mayor, and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Zhanyi Industrial Park (concurrently) announced the start of the Qujing All-Vanadium Flow Battery Industrial Base (Phase I) project.

It is understood that Yunnan Vanadium Carbon New Energy Co., Ltd. is jointly invested and established by Zhongguangtong Energy (Yunnan) Co., Ltd. and Hunan Yinfeng New Energy Co., Ltd. With trillions of large-scale energy storage as the track and the mission and goal of helping carbon neutrality, the company has launched large-scale production of all-vanadium redox flow battery stacks and their systems, creating a strategic highland for new energy storage in Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan and Southwest China. The first phase of the project has a total investment of 500 million yuan, a planned land of 120 mu, a plant construction area of 50,000 square meters, and the world’s largest automatic production line for stacks with an annual output of 500MW, with an annual output value of 2 billion yuan.

Zhongguangtong Energy (Yunnan) Co., Ltd., Hunan Yinfeng New Energy Co., Ltd., city and district bureaus of industry and information technology, main leaders of relevant departments directly under the district, main leaders of Baishui Town, representatives of project construction units and project owner units attended the groundbreaking ceremony .
